what is your one key piece of advice in business?
Relationships are forever! It’s so important to build authentic trusting and lasting relationships with everyone you work with, be it a client, a boss, a team member. I always hope to be somebody people want to work with again and again! Secondly, always look after your people, at TTH our teams really are our priority, without them we don’t function and knowing they are happy and enjoy their roles gives us the drive to work hard for them!
what motivates you?
It’s such a cliché but our little boy Teddy & our baby Lainey. We want to give them a great lifestyle as well as a work ethic that will take them far. We want them both to take risks, aim high and not to ever limit his dreams and ambitions. I also take lots of motivation from other business founders, those really rule breaking, I love seeing new, innovative brands breaking the mould in the beauty & fashion industries.

why did you set up the talent house?
We have a sister business to TTH called The Make Up House. The Makeup House was created and launched before The Talent House and is an accredited beauty training school. After completing one of the available courses with us, students leave with a qualification in beauty. On the back of this we would always see exceptional talent leaving with their qualification and looking to start their career in the industry. Charley and I saw an opportunity to combine our skill sets and industry contacts to help place candidates, like who was training at The Makeup House, into employment. The business grew from there. We now offer executive search and day to day in-store teams, brand consultancy, retail strategy and sales and education training.
what are you drivers for success?
I think for any father and partner its always first and foremost to provide the best life for his family. We have a young son who drives us to succeed every day. I would like to see The Talent House regarded as of the best agencies not only in the UK but also globally. The opportunity to work with such leading brands and inspiring people is really exciting. Seeing our business adding real value to some and the world’s biggest industry names is what it’s all about.
